MATERIALS & FINISHES

Metal Frames, Bases & Finishes

We manufacture metal frames, bases and legs for dining tables and coffee tables. These components shape the appearance of the furniture and provide the structure beneath the tabletop.

Our metalworking includes tube and plate processing, forming, welding and in-house powder coating.

Metal Applications Across Tables & Chairs

Metal takes different forms across our dining tables, dining chairs and coffee tables, from supporting frames and legs to shaped bases.

Dining Tables

Metal frames provide the supporting framework beneath dining tabletops. Selected extendable dining tables also use the metal frame as the mounting structure for extension rails.

Dining Chairs

We use powder-coated steel for dining chair frames, combining the metal structure with upholstered seats and backs.

Coffee Tables

Our coffee-table metalwork includes frames, legs and bases. Cylindrical and conical support forms are used in selected designs, giving the metalwork a visible role in the furniture.

Shaping the Metal Components

Different components call for different processing methods. We work with tubes and flat metal parts to produce the frames, connection pieces and shaped supports used in our furniture.

Tube Cutting

Tube components are laser-cut according to drawings, preparing the parts used in table frames and related structures.

Plate Cutting & Forming

Flat metal parts are cut for connection pieces and other components. Where required, plate components are bent or rolled to create the specified form, including cylindrical and conical supports.

Welding & Grinding

Related components are welded to form frames and support assemblies. Welded areas are then ground before cleaning and surface finishing.

Structure, Connections & Assembly

The metalwork includes connection pieces and mounting points as well as the visible base. These parts bring together the frame, tabletop structure and, on relevant extendable designs, the extension rails.

Positioned Connections

Drilling and tapping use positioning fixtures for the relevant components. Connection pieces are prepared for their specified role in the furniture assembly.

Frame Adjustment & Fitting

After powder coating, table frames move to the assembly workshop for adjustment and fitting.

Powder-Coated Finishes

We carry out powder coating in-house for metal furniture components. Preparation includes grinding welded areas and cleaning before coating.

Matte black and textured black are among the finishes used across our furniture. Finish selection is discussed in relation to the metal components and the furniture design.

Coordinating Metal, Surfaces & Upholstery

The shape of the frame or base, the finish of the metal and the materials used alongside it all contribute to the complete furniture design.

Review metal finishes alongside tabletop surfaces or upholstery when considering dining tables, dining chairs and coffee tables for your range.
